2026 Community Impact
Awards & Grant Program
The Miles of Change Foundation Community Impact Awards & Grant Program recognizes outstanding organizations that are creating lasting, measurable change throughout the Greater Cincinnati community. Through unrestricted charitable grants, the Foundation invests in organizations that demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation, and community impact. These awards celebrate organizations improving lives through leadership, education, sports, wellness, the arts, environmental stewardship, workforce development, food security, and community engagement.
Unlike traditional project grants, these awards are unrestricted, allowing recipients to use the funding where it needed most to strengthen their organization and advance their charitable mission.
Application Opens: July 10, 2026
Application Deadline: July 26, 2026
Award Presentation: August 8, 2026 (Miles Meet & Greet Celebration)

Applicants must:

Be a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in good standing; or
-
Be a public or charter school, government agency, or public college or university.

Serve residents within the Greater Cincinnati region.

Demonstrate measurable community impact.

Be committed to improving opportunities for youth, families, and neighborhoods.
Organizations working in leadership development, education, athletics, health and wellness, arts and culture, environmental stewardship, workforce development, food access, or community development are encouraged to apply.
Applications will be reviewed by an independent Selection Committee, appointed by the Miles of Change Foundation.
Committee members will evaluate each application using the published scoring criteria. Any committee member with an actual or perceived conflict of interest will disclose that conflict and recuse themselves from reviewing or scoring the affected application.
The Selection Committee will make funding recommendations based on the published evaluation criteria. Final awards are subject to approval by Athletes Charitable and United Charitable, as required.
The decisions of the Selection Committee are final.
Recipients agree to:

Accept grant funds through the approved grant process.

Participate in the public awards presentation, if available.

Submit a brief impact update within six months describing how the unrestricted funding strengthened their organization.

Permit the Miles of Change Foundation to recognize the organization through its website, social media, and other communications.
PUBLIC NOTICE
The Miles of Change Foundation Community Impact Awards & Grant Program will be publicly promoted through the Foundation's website, social media platforms, community partners, email communications, and other public outreach efforts to encourage broad participation from eligible organizations throughout Greater Cincinnati.

All awards are made through Athletes Charitable in accordance with applicable federal and state laws and are subject to United Charitable grantmaking policies, available funding, and final approval. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding. The Miles of Change Foundation and Athletes Charitable reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this program at any time.

AN EVENING WITH
MILES ROBINSON
An invite-only event celebrating Miles Robinson following his selection to the 2026 US Men's National Team. This special evening will introduce the vision of the Miles of Change Foundation, dedicated to empowering youth through sports, wellness, education, leadership, and community. We will proudly award our inaugural grants to three Cincinnati-based organizations.
